Part of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service and housed at North Carolina State University, Urban Horticulture’s primary goal is to develop educational materials for the horticultural agents and Master Gardener volunteers in its 100-county extension centers. Master Gardener volunteers play an important role in Urban Horticulture’s local Cooperative Extension Center.
