O’Neal ramped up it’s defensive intensity after trailing by three heading into the fourth quarter, disrupting the Knights offense and fueling a 27 point offensive outburst in the final frame. After building a 9 point lead, O’Neal knocked down 8 of 10 free throws to post a 66-60 win over Chatham Charter. Brian Subin led O’Neal with an 18 point, 5 rebound performance, knocking down 5 of 5 from the line to seal the win. Spencer Sullivan added 14 points and six assists, while Quan Roper backed up a strong defensive effort with 14 points, shooting 100% from the floor. Will Taylor drained two fourth quarter 3’s and dished out 5 assists to spark the Falcon rally. Chatham’s Matt Moody had 17 points and Jason Foulks scored 12 to lead the Knights. O’Neal (5-11, 2-3) plays at home versus Trinity Academy on Friday January 29th at 7:00 pm.
