Grandmaster Melanie Wyatt receives highest Tae Kwon Do achievement

Congratulations to Grandmaster Melanie Wyatt, 7th Degree Black Belt, on receiving the Instructor’s Degree of Grandmaster, the highest Tae Kwon Do achievement.  This Degree was presented to her on March 19, 2010 by the US Chung Do Kwan Association in Lakeland, Florida.  She is only the 2nd female in USCDKA history to receive this Degree.

Grandmaster Wyatt heads the Tae Kwon Do program at the Martial Arts Academy of Southern Pines and currently has over 120 students under her direction.

Grandmaster Wyatt started training in Tae Kwon Do in 1981 and has been teaching continuously in the Sandhills of North Carolina since 1983.

She has promoted over 100 Black Belts and several Masters through 5th Dan Rank.
Additional achievements:
•    1997 Presidential Award for Excellence
•    Voted into US Chung Do Kwan Association Black Belt Hall of Fame on it’s inauguration
•    Voted most outstanding Female Master
•    Holds International Kukkiwon  Credentials and Referee Certification
•    The Instructor’s Degree of Grandmaster
